The main pieces of our corporate culture involve three keywords that make up the acronym we know as “HIT”: Honesty, Integrity and Transparency. It’s essential that all of our team members buy into our corporate culture in order for SCOTTeVEST to succeed as a company. By instilling these values in our employees and our day to day actions, we create a foundation that helps us achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Team members must be honest with others and with themselves. Honesty is the foundation of both integrity and transparency, and team members who are dishonest will be subject to termination. It’s much easier to be honest and tell the truth rather than trying to keep track of a web of lies. Honesty is paramount!
Our corporate culture also centers on balancing urgency, striving for accuracy and working in a quick and efficient manner. Here at SCOTTeVEST, we are committed to rewarding people who can embrace moving quickly without sacrificing accuracy. We are always looking for fresh ideas, constantly working on dozens of projects, and most importantly, making sure we offer our customers the latest and most innovative SCOTTeVEST products.
Our employees live by the “figure it out mentality” and we expect them to solve problems on their own. If a question is to be asked, it should come after all resources have been exhausted. If you forgot your password, figure out how to reset it. If you lost a phone number, use your resources to find it. While we strive to provide the proper training and support for our team members to succeed, being an independent problem solver is a skillset that all employees must possess.
Aside from honesty, one of the most important things we expect from team members is communication, both verbal communication and email communication. Email is an important form of communication for our business and we expect every email to be answered as soon as possible– even if you are occupied working on a project, it only takes a moment to say “I’ve received your email and I will get back to you later today.” Communication is the key to success!
At SCOTTeVEST, we are a team, and it takes everyone’s collective success for the company to succeed and to grow. Whether your job title includes the word "Implementer" or not, everyone we hire must adopt what we call the Implementer Mentality. By definition, an implementer is someone who "carries out, puts into action or performs." In other words, someone who gets shit done! A worker merely operates within a company while an implementer drives the company, and we are always looking for implementers at SCOTTeVEST. We have not grown to where we are today by hiring just anyone off of the street. It takes a highly motivated, high-energy, honest and hardworking individual to succeed at SCOTTeVEST. We expect a lot, but we reward success. A company can only be as successful as its foundation, and our foundation is our team members.View Available Jobs
