SCOTTeVEST Loves Dogs
At SCOTTeVEST, our love of dogs permeates everything we do. We feel that how you treat animals tells a lot about a person. Because of this, co-founders Laura and Scott Jordan have integrated their love of dogs into the company culture. This includes designing a dog-friendly workplace, paid dog walkers for the office, naming multiple garments after dogs, paying the fees for any employee who wants to adopt a dog as well as supporting various animal and dog-related charities.
Scott’s love of dogs stems from his childhood, when ongoing family issues left him no one to confide in other than Kelly, his Toy Poodle. Additionally, Laura feels a stronger connection to dogs than most people due to their logical and rational personalities.
Together, the Jordans have had six standard poodles in their lives since starting the company, but the office dogs don’t stop there! To learn more about the SCOTTeVEST animals please see below:

After work and on the weekends you can find Susie hiking with the Jordan family or lounging around their house.

Margaux is a Standard Poodle born in 2004, who recently became blind and deaf due to an autoimmune disease she’s battled for the last 3 years. Her nickname is The Awesome and Amazing Margaux thanks to her inspiring nature and persistent attitude to learn something new every day. She loves to dance to Stevie Wonder’s “Sir Duke” (even though she can’t hear it) and going on hikes with the Jordan family. You can follow her progress learning how to adapt to being blind and deaf here. #RootForMargaux
